Chennaiyin FC set to leave for Thailand for Pre-season Preparations – MS Dhoni co-owned franchise, Chennaiyin FC is set to leave for Thailand on Wednesday for their 2017-18 Indian Super League preparations. Nicknamed as Super Machans, Chennaiyin FC are set to play at least four practice matches in Thailand against few top clubs in the country.
The club is expected to return back to India on 2nd November 2017 after which the team is expected to begin their final round preparation in Chennai. Under the watchful eyes of John Gregory, Chennaiyin FC players have been practising for last ten days in Chennai before leaving for Thailand.
Team India is scheduled to face Macau in 2019 Asian Cup Qualifiers on 11th October. So big names from the national side like Jeje Lalpekhlua, Anirudh Thapa, Germanpreet Singh and Jerry Lalrinzuala will join the club directly in Thailand.
Chennaiyin FC which represents Chennai in ISL is a good team and has performed well in previous editions. Though the team had some downfalls, Chennaiyin FC is a team which looks good for the comebacks. They look good for the upcoming season and lots of expectations are there from this side.
The Chennaiyin FC will play their first match on 19th November at Marina Arena against FC Goa.
